DHH bought a Snapdragon X machine for testing and says Omarchy on Qualcomm is progressing quickly — great chips held back by an out-of-date OS that soar once you drop Windows.
LundukeJournal quotes "Omarchy and Hyprland are fascist. Avoid them at all costs." and says it was posted "from the GNOME Co-Founder and SUSE engineer."; the still is a post under the name "Federico Mena Quintero" reading "@Gnaro Omarchy and Hyprland are fascist. Avoid them at all costs."
dhh says "Thrilled to welcome @SpaceXAI as a Founding Corporate Patron for the Omacom Foundation. That's $1,500,000 in @grok tokens for the maintenance and development of Omarchy. Maybe soon they'll be beamed straight from orbit? Let's go 🚀🌕", linking the announcement in Omarchy news.
LundukeJournal says it appears that the Libera Chat IRC service is closing the "Omarchy" IRC channel because of "codes of conduct", quoting the staff notice that "This decision is by consensus of the staff team" and "We will be closing down any channels related to omarchy."; the still is an IRC log where Sario joins #omarchy and posts the notice asking to relocate the community off the network immediately.
