WoW Forever Beta was freezing on Omarchy until Codex dug logs and settled on GE-Proton10-34 + DirectX 12 + lighting tweaks—now runs well for Linux gaming.
suryazarc asks dhh and OmarchyLinux "any plans for something like : "omarchy setup secureboot"", saying "lot of gamers with dual boot face this issue"; the still is a "VALORANT" error reading "This build of Vanguard requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot to be enabled" with "VAN-9001" and an "EXIT" button.
Michaelzsguo notes Omarchy comes factory-bundled with Codex and Claude Code, version-managed through Mise, and says the fastest way to update Codex is the terminal shortcut mup, Omarchy's short form for mise update that refreshes Mise-managed tools and stubs; the screenshot shows mup upgrading claude, codex, and pi via mise 2026.9.1.
Coming from Mac to Omarchy, UlrichSlothuus missed the menu bar currency converter and calculator — one Codex/GPT prompt later he had it working, with a desktop screenshot of the fix.
