martiano says a new Try Omarchy version is released and calls it a huge update: much more stable and reliable, better performance with reduced memory and CPU usage, Browser and Alacritty GPU acceleration, Ghostty + 1Password installation, configurable max disk size, automatic macOS timezone mirroring, a battery widget, support for more languages and keyboards (中文, 日本語, 한국어, ABNT2), auto check for updates, and Omarchy 4.0.4, with the goal of making Try Omarchy a perfect daily driver for Macs and the Apple Ecosystem, linking the omacom/try-omarchy v0.5.0 release and adding "We're close to achieving GPU acceleration for video playback"; the still shows the Try Omarchy "Omarchy, on macOS" window with PERMISSIONS for Accessibility, Microphone access, and Camera access, INTEGRATIONS including Shared folder, VM Location, Resources (8 processor cores · 8 GiB memory · 64 GiB disk), Networking, and Port forwarding, and an "UPDATE AND LAUNCH" button over a green snake wallpaper beside a webcam inset of the speaker.

MichaelGannotti: Try Omarchy for Windows Hit 0.10, the Release That Makes It Feel Like Something to Just Leave Running

@MichaelGannotti

MichaelGannotti says "Try Omarchy for Windows hit 0.10 and this is the release that makes it feel like something you can just leave running." It starts right away and pulls updates in the background (Restart to update is in the tray); if the desktop freezes it saves diagnostics and offers a restart, in CPU mode if graphics locked up, and the session stays open until the user picks; it resumes cleanly after Windows sleep, volume and mute stay in sync, and night light works now. Then 0.10.1 landed to fix big images copied from Windows stalling ("Nice."), and in a follow-up reply they link omacom/try-omarchy-windows; the still is a card headed "Omarchy That Bounces Back" with a "desktop stopped responding" dialog reading "diagnostics saved · session kept open" and a "Restart (CPU mode)" button, a "tray" menu with "Restart to update", "Resume Omarchy", "Sync volume with Windows", and "Night light", pills reading "Try Omarchy for Windows · v0.10.0 Oct 5 · v0.10.1 Oct 6" and "updates in the background · freeze recovery · clean resume after sleep", and the line "Omarchy Linux · Try Omarchy for Windows 0.10".

They thank robbietilton and link rubengarciajr/compositor-for-omarchy; the still is a monitor labeled "ThinkVision" showing a "Compositor · Omarchy" window with File, Edit, Select, Layer, Image, Filter, View, and Help menus, a "Move / Transform" row with "Auto Select" and "Show Controls" buttons, a tool column at the left, and a blank white canvas.
