shawnyeager: Moshi Packaged for Omarchy, With Both Pull Requests Open

shawnyeager says they are a big fan of what odd_joel is building with Moshi and want it to be right at home on Omarchy: "Now it is." Both pull requests are open, a package in omacom/omarchy-pkgs and an install menu in omacom/omarchy. For testers, they packaged the Linux build as a native app: launcher, icon, and the official binaries linked against system WebKit and GStreamer. The package follows Moshi's Linux releases, and install and remove are under AI. GPU compositing stays on: with WebKitGTK 2.52 on Wayland, the window gets to the Intel Arc through dmabuf. They also ran it with dmabuf forced off, which paints the WebKit view on the CPU, through shared memory, and on their laptop the performance was poor. The same switch hides a WebKit crash on quit. The package keeps the GPU on; the crash is WebKit 2.52.6, and the fix is in 2.54.1.

losingle: Working on Multi-Monitor Settings for Omarchy, Draft PR #14436

@losingle

losingle says they are working on multi-monitor settings for Omarchy: choose a display, identify it on-screen, adjust rotation and scale, and map brightness controls to the right device. They link Draft PR #14436 on omacom/omarchy and add "Would love your thoughts, @dhh!"; the still is a "Display" panel reading "Choose a display to configure", with an "Identify displays" button under "SELECT DISPLAY", "FlipGo-A1 · DP-11" checked above "FlipGo-A2 · DP-12", "BRIGHTNESS · DP-11" at "100%" with the note "Controlled by the monitor; linked panels may change together.", "SCALE" buttons from "1x" to "4x" with "2x" selected, "ORIENTATION · DP-11" buttons "Normal", "Left 90°", "180°", and "Right 90°" with "Left 90°" selected, "Apply changes" and "Discard" buttons, and "TEXT SIZE · ALL DISPLAYS" at "12px".

tcballard: Couldn't Leave the Omarchy Installer Alone

@tcballard

tcballard couldn't leave the Omarchy installer alone: animated logo, theme colors, and a live terminal for prompts and progress, asking ryanrhughes "fancy a review?" with Greptile's three findings fixed and pushed, and saying even waiting for packages should look good, linking omacom/omarchy pull request 13563; the still is an orange-bordered installer window over a dark orange-and-black illustrated wallpaper, reading "OMARCHY", "~0%", "Installing Ruby on Rails", and "Preparing installation" above a progress line, with "Use the controls above · Ctrl+C Cancel" at the bottom.

tonysimons_: Built Lumen, an Open-Source Screen Recorder for Omarchy With a Full MCP Server

@tonysimons_

tonysimons_ says Wayland wasn't the problem, the workflow around it was, so tonysimons_ built Lumen: an open-source screen recorder for Omarchy with editing, replay, and local captions, and a full MCP server so agents can run "the damn thing" too; the still is a near-black frame with faint diagonal lines and no readable UI.
