MichaelGannotti: Try Omarchy for Windows Hit 0.10, the Release That Makes It Feel Like Something to Just Leave Running

@MichaelGannotti

MichaelGannotti says "Try Omarchy for Windows hit 0.10 and this is the release that makes it feel like something you can just leave running." It starts right away and pulls updates in the background (Restart to update is in the tray); if the desktop freezes it saves diagnostics and offers a restart, in CPU mode if graphics locked up, and the session stays open until the user picks; it resumes cleanly after Windows sleep, volume and mute stay in sync, and night light works now. Then 0.10.1 landed to fix big images copied from Windows stalling ("Nice."), and in a follow-up reply they link omacom/try-omarchy-windows; the still is a card headed "Omarchy That Bounces Back" with a "desktop stopped responding" dialog reading "diagnostics saved · session kept open" and a "Restart (CPU mode)" button, a "tray" menu with "Restart to update", "Resume Omarchy", "Sync volume with Windows", and "Night light", pills reading "Try Omarchy for Windows · v0.10.0 Oct 5 · v0.10.1 Oct 6" and "updates in the background · freeze recovery · clean resume after sleep", and the line "Omarchy Linux · Try Omarchy for Windows 0.10".

rubengarciajr: Compositor for Omarchy 1.2.0 Is Out

@rubengarciajr

rubengarciajr says Compositor for Omarchy 1.2.0 is out, now in sync with the Mac app (1.4.5): Color Range, rulers + guides, Curves/Levels, Vignette, Bloom, CRT scanline Dither and more, "Photoshop vibes, Omarchy themes, zero Adobe subscription." They thank robbietilton and link rubengarciajr/compositor-for-omarchy; the still is a monitor labeled "ThinkVision" showing a "Compositor · Omarchy" window with File, Edit, Select, Layer, Image, Filter, View, and Help menus, a "Move / Transform" row with "Auto Select" and "Show Controls" buttons, a tool column at the left, and a blank white canvas.

ashtonamory: Working on the Next Project With Tallgrass, a Custom Omarchy Map Builder, on a Layover

@ashtonamory

ashtonamory says some people use their layovers to watch Netflix but they use theirs to build games, leaving the cold and heading for the tropics while working on their next project with Tallgrass, their custom Omarchy map builder; the still is a black laptop in a large hall with tall windows, its screen showing a top-down pixel farm map with crop fields, dirt paths, a blue stream, and a red-roofed building beside a tile palette.
