daveremy: X Flickering in Chromium on Omarchy? Check for Both Intel and NVIDIA Graphics
daveremy asks "X flickering in Chromium on Omarchy?", where old strips of the page get left behind on scroll, and says to check whether the laptop has both Intel and NVIDIA graphics: theirs does, with the screen running off the Intel chip, but since Omarchy 4.0.1 video decoding gets pointed at the NVIDIA driver and Chromium can't pass those frames across to the Intel side; setting LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME=iHD so video uses Intel's driver fixed it on their laptop, with GPU acceleration back on and scrolling clean, and daveremy credits the people in Omarchy issue #9708 who tracked this down, noting the proper fix is already merged (PR #11690) and waiting on a release, linking omacom/omarchy pull request 11690.
