realfxw: OmacVM Runs Omarchy in a VM on Mac Feeling Native

@realfxw · MacBook Pro

realfxw presents the open-source project OmacVM as nearly native-feeling Omarchy in a VM on Apple Silicon Macs, especially M3 and M4 not yet natively supported by Asahi, with the Omarchy top status bar streamed into the notch black bars, Mac-native trackpad gestures and experimental Scroll Momentum, host Wi-Fi Bluetooth and AirPods battery in the Linux top bar, keyboard brightness and volume HUDs, Night Shift and True Tone linkage, wallpaper sync to the macOS desktop, multi-monitor layout matching, and near-host Speedometer scores under Parallels, linking gillesgoetsch/omacvm; the video frame is a promo card reading "OmacVM" and "Omarchy in a VM on your Mac, feeling native" above a silver MacBook Pro on a wooden desk showing a MacBook Pro About window for Apple M4 Max, 64 GB, and macOS Sequoia 15.7.4.
