phevdev says their 10-year-old daughter "outgrew" what one can do with an iPad for school and stuff. They gave her their old MacBook Pro (late 2013), but it was slow, fans were blowing all the time, and there were no updates: "Let Omarchy be her first computer OS - works like a charm."
